Branch Supervisor - Automotive

Job Role
Through proper management of their Staff, the branch manager has to achieve an agreed sales volume target for new cars, parts and services. Must exploit available and potential resources to the full and secure the dealership's revenues.
The aim should be to use high-quality service and professional customer care to bind customers and potential customers to Al Mansour Automotive Group and our brands. The customer base of the dealership must be secured and continuously extended.
Job Responsibilities
- Allocate work and review completion, take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal
- Assist with the development of internal communications and work collaboratively with colleagues to build strong external customer relationships and meet customer needs
- Develop a personal network within the sales territory and represent the organization at trade shows and other events to identify sales opportunities, promote the organization, and enhance its reputation
- Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards.
- Make calls (by telephone or in person) to allocated customers to develop new relationships. Act as a first point of contact for resolving customer queries and complaints
- Manage day-to-day operations of a small to medium store with a homogeneous product line in order to achieve operational sales performance goals. Includes being responsible for the front end, back end and sales floor
- Monitor stock levels, including all product types, and manage stock replenishment orders in collaboration with the central warehouse to ensure the branch is adequately stocked to meet internal/external customer demands while minimizing costs
- Monitor team members' use of the CRM system, identifying and resolving standard issues and escalating them to a senior manager as appropriate
- Respond to more advanced issue escalations promptly and appropriately; provide managerial approvals as required
- Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; or monitor the performance of the team
- Sell standard products and services to customers and/or supervise a team of sales advisers
- identify, within the team, patterns of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate
Education
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Experience:
- 5 to 7 years prior experience in Automotive sales, or a similar industry.
Job Specific Skills:
- Sales Leadership: Strong ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales executives to exceed targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Customer Orientation: Deep understanding of customer behaviour and expectations in the automotive retail space.
- Team Management: Experience in setting team goals, monitoring performance, conducting one-on-one coaching, and managing performance improvement plans.
- Inventory & Display Management: Ensures proper display and availability of vehicles and promotional materials in the showroom.
- Problem Solving: Ability to resolve customer complaints or staff issues efficiently while maintaining service standards.
- Reporting & Analysis: Competent in sales data analysis, reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
- CRM & Systems: Familiarity with showroom CRM systems and automotive dealership software.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills in both verbal and written formats.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures showroom cleanliness, proper branding, and a professional customer environment
