Job Role

To lead the accounts receivable and banking functions across both vehicle sales and after-sales operations, ensuring accurate financial control, process optimization, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role drives operational excellence, stakeholder collaboration, and supports audit readiness while contributing to the overall financial performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Allocate responsibilities, review outputs, and ensure productivity and accuracy
  • Analyze issues within receivables and reconciliation processes to recommend process improvements
  • Assess customer credit risk through AR trends and aging reports
  • Conduct root-cause analyses of discrepancies, ageing anomalies, and misallocated payments
  • Contribute to identifying financial and operational risks, using defined tools and practices
  • Ensure completeness and clarity of documentation for internal use and external audits
  • Ensure the quality of reconciliations, reports, and transactions through periodic audits and reviews
  • Identify and report instances of non-compliance and escalate major issues to leadership
  • Implement performance improvement actions where needed and support team development
  • Monitor AR and banking operations for policy compliance
  • Monitor and assess the performance of direct reports using company performance tools
  • Oversee daily AR and banking operations to ensure accurate, timely reconciliation of accounts and banking transactions
  • Prepare complex financial reports, including A/R Aging, bank charges, and reconciliations
  • Promote continuous improvement in transaction accuracy and turnaround times
  • Review and approve bank instructions and ensure charges are within agreed frameworks.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Finance department and banking partners
  • Supervise and coach a small team responsible for AR and banking tasks
  • Supervise the clearing of customer payments and enforce financial controls across all AR processes
  • Support sales and after-sales teams by resolving AR-related issues collaboratively and efficiently

Education

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Accounting and Banking Sciences

Required Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4–6 years in finance with a focus on AR and banking; automotive sector experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience with performance management exposure.
  • Strong ERP (preferably SAP) and banking system knowledge

  • Data Collection & Analysis – Strong ability to interpret AR and banking data for actionable insights.
  • Numerical & Financial Skills – Advanced financial computations, reconciliations, and forecasting.

  • Review & Reporting – Capable of preparing management-level financial summaries and dashboards.
  • Computer Skills – Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and banking portals.
  • Costing & Budgeting – Familiar with cost controls related to banking fees and financial operations.
  • Risk & Process Analysis – Capable of identifying financial risks and supporting mitigation plans.
  • Customer-Focused Approach – Supports internal customers (sales, after-sales) with financial accuracy.
