Summary
Parts ASO's Sales Officer ensures accurate handling, storage, and movement of parts and materials to support workshop and sales operations efficiently and reliably.
Tasks
Make calls (by telephone or in person) to allocated customers to maintain and strengthen existing relationships. Act as a first point of contact for resolving customer queries and complaints.
Identify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, use personal expertise to propose quantities and product configurations, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale.
Schedule follow-up actions and enter relevant information into the CRM system after each contact with a customer to create a call plan and to ensure that the organization has quality data to enable effective customer retention and business development activities.
Sell simple products and services directly to customers while following standard protocols. May also involve providing back-office support to a sales team.
Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports.
Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven ability to work independently.
