B&P Service Center Manager

Job Role

The Service Manager has complete responsibility and authority within the Service Department. He reports directly to the General Manager and co-ordinates with him the annual targets. His area of responsibility also includes the technical and commercial management of the department. Personnel within the department report directly to the Service Manager on all day-to-day activities and problems.

The Service Manager reports on a regular basis to the General Service Manager on all service, , gross profit results and cost management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Cooperatively prepare employee training plans with the technical training/HR, ensure training application while encouraging technicians to enhance and update their skills.
  • Ensure to comply with health/safety regulations and procedures
  • Evaluate the performance of service center staff to acknowledge efficient employees and guide underperforming ones
  • Keeping up-to-date on manufacturer warranty and policy procedures and following with the warranty section for the claim to assure the payment.
  • Maintaining the highest levels and targets of Customer Satisfaction and Repair Standards. (CSI & FRFT) by handling customers complaints immediately and according to dealership policy.
  • Participate in recruiting of new employees and technician through interviews as one of the steps needed of the hiring process.
  • Present reports and updates as required to the service general manager on work activities.
  • Responsible for coordinating the activities with the different company department in the company with his service center to ensure efficient operations.
  • Responsible for managing and monitoring the service Center capacity.
  • Responsible for managing and monitoring the service capacity of the center.
  • Responsible for requiring the needed equipment, hand tools and special tools for his service center.
  • Supervising all the employees (Service advisors- Team leader, timekeepers, warehouse keeper, etc.) and technicians within the service Center to ensure their jobs meet the standards of quality set by a company to achieve customer satisfaction.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Experience:
Minimum 10 years experience in Services and Maintenance Management

Required Skills:

  • Very Good English Language
  • Computer Skills and good Finance knowledge
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • In depth knowledge of MAC products
  • Excellent communication and negotiations skills
  • Excellent customer service disposition
  • Leadership & Management skills
  • Self-Motivated, Troubleshooting, Creative Problem-Solving.
  • Team building skills
